Injury Report: Buycks, Johnson Out

The season of injuries for the Lakers continued on Sunday night when just-signed injury replacement Dwight Buycks fractured the third metatarsal on his shooting hand and Wesley Johnson moderately sprained his ankle.

That leaves the following (skinny) depth chart for Monday's game at Sacramento:

PG: Jordan Clarkson
SG: Jabari Brown
SF: Ryan Kelly
PF: Ed Davis, Carlos Boozer, Jordan Hill
C: Tarik Black, Robert Sacre

Kelly is playing out of position, having started the last several games at his preferred power forward slot, but the Lakers nonetheless have just a single body at three positions.

Some funky lineups may be necessary, in which Jordan Hill or Carlos Boozer may find himself playing on the perimeter.

As things currently stand, the Lakers have missed an NBA-high 307 games due to injury or illness.

Julius Randle: 79
Steve Nash: 73 (before being waived)
Kobe Bryant: 37
Nick Young: 37
Ryan Kelly: 29
Ronnie Price: 28
Xavier Henry: 16 (before being waived)
Wayne Ellington: 7
Jordan Hill: 5
Jeremy Lin: 5
Wesley Johnson: 3
Carlos Boozer: 3
Tarik Black: 2

Nash and Henry were long ago determined out for the season and waived to allow for the signings of Brown and Black. Randle, Bryant, Young, Price, Ellington, Lin and now Buycks have also determined to be out for the season.

That leaves just six available players that were on the roster for the season opener.
