New York Knicks Sign Charlie Brown Jr. to an Exhibit 10 Contract

NEW YORK, September 5, 2023 The New York Knicksannounced today that the team has signed guard Charlie Brown Jr. to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Brown, 26-years-old, (6-6, 199 pounds), averaged 19.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in this year’s NBA Summer League for the Knicks in four games played. He averaged 13.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists this past season for the Delaware Blue Coats. He helped the Blue Coats win the NBA G League title for the 2022-23 season. Brown averaged 1.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.3 assists in the 2021-22 season for the Philadelphia 76ers and made his first NBA start at home for the 76ers one week after being signed to a 10-day contract on Jan. 19, 2022.

The Philadelphia, PA-native played two seasons at Saint Joseph’s, where he led the Atlantic 10 in points per game during his redshirt sophomore year, averaging 19.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 32 games. Brown was named All-Atlantic 10 and first team All-Big 5 honors (2019).
