(2004) Knicks forward Kurt Thomas receives the NBA Community Assist Award for the month of June for his charitable work and educational work with New York City High School students.

(2008) Knicks sign four-year veteran guard Chris Duhon, who previously played for Chicago.

(2009) Knicks sign rookie guard Toney Douglas to a contract.

(2010) Knicks reshape roster with two major deals, headlined by the “official” acquisition of five-time NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire, who is introduced to the media a day earlier, after coming over in a sign-and-trade from Phoenix. Knicks send a protected future second-round draft selection to Phoenix in the deal and then pull off a second move, acquiring forward Anthony Randolph, swingman Kelenna Azubuike, forward/center Ronny Turiaf and a 2012 second round draft pick (later sent to Denver in Carmelo Anthony trade) from Golden State in exchange for forward David Lee.
