On Friday, Nov. 17, the Sacramento Kings will host Social Media Night as the team welcomes the Portland Trail Blazers to Golden 1 Center.

The evening’s festivities will include a special appearance by mini-pig Hank, who has quickly climbed the ranks as one of the most lovable online animals. Be sure to follow the swine star on Instagram: MyBestFriendHank.

While Hank is set to take over one of the team’s social accounts, there will be photo opportunities on the concourse with jumbo-sized emoji and social cutouts, featuring Kings players and social media icons.

In recognition of one of the team’s most liked Instagram posts, an illustration of the squad by Aaron Dana will be reproduced on a limited-edition T-shirt and available for purchase exclusively in-arena at Kings Team Store.

Throughout the night, social media-themed programming will be highlighted with activations such as a first-of-its-kind hobby horse race, toddler fox trot, Kings Cruising Karaoke with Doug Christie and animoji lip sync challenge.

Plus, guests who’re active on Snapchat will be able to share their story of the game with a unique geofilter.

Fans in attendance may find easter eggs to additional online references, so invite a friend and check out seats while they’re still available!

On Monday, February 27, the Kings will be hosting a special Social Media night during the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The festivities will be numerous and continuous throughout the evening. Special guest famouslos32 will be in the building, contributing to the numerous social media outlets.

Throughout the concourse, fans will be able to take photos with jumbo-sized Kings emojis and social cutouts, as well as access an exclusive Snapchat geofilter.

Players will be wearing special-edition shooting shirts featuring crown and basketball emojis and their Instagram handles.

Fans will be able to purchase and customize these same shirts in the Kings Team Store that evening.

In the arena, social media themed programming will run through the course of the night. Fans can showcase their bottle-flipping skills and best emoji face for the Emoji Cam. The beautiful 4K video board will also highlight viral videos and popular memes.

Kings Social Media Night Details

On March 30 versus the Washington Wizards, the Sacramento Kings will host a special social media-themed night.

The fun will tip-off before doors open, as Kings TV analyst Doug Christie will visit the team’s Facebook Page to answer fan questions beginning at 4 p.m. PDT.

Shortly thereafter, Christie’s former teammate, Peja Stojakovic, will participate in a Reddit AMA on /r/nba starting at 5 p.m. PDT.

Once doors open, the festivities continue, as the first 5,000 fans to check-in to the game at Sleep Train Arena on Facebook and display their check-in at Section 104 on the concourse will receive a DeMarcus Cousins All-Star emoji ghost cutout.

On-court, the Kings will warm up in an NBA first-of-its-kind shooting shirt, featuring team emojis on the front and each player’s unique Instagram handle on the back.

Sacramento faithful will be able to purchase limited-edition Kings emoji T-shirts, featuring the team and select players, at Kings Team Store in Sleep Train Arena.

During the contest, fans will have the opportunity to get their #KingsSelfie featured on KingsVision, while the best in-arena dance moves will be highlighted on the Kings Vine account as part of the team’s Do It for the Vine Cam.

Fans in attendance will also have the chance to participate in a social media scavenger hunt for tickets to Sacramento’s regular season finale at Sleep Train Arena and more.
