Mike Longabardi joins the Sacramento Kings after spending the past two seasons with the Washington Wizards.

Longabardi brings a championship pedigree to the coaching staff, having won titles in two of his previous stops as an assistant coach – one with the 2007-08 Boston Celtics and most recently with the 2016-17 Cleveland Cavaliers. Longabardi spent three seasons with the Cavaliers, under Tyronn Lue.

Before joining the Cavs, Longabardi spent two-plus seasons as an assistant coach with the Phoenix Suns. Prior to that, he served six seasons as an assistant coach with Boston under Doc Rivers. With the Celtics, Longabardi helped them reach three Eastern Conference Finals and two NBA Finals. In addition, Longabardi was an assistant coach/video coordinator for the Houston Rockets under Jeff Van Gundy. In Houston, he was previously the video coordinator for one season and the assistant video coordinator for a year. Longabardi also spent seven years as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball teams at Pfeiffer University, Adelphi University, Lafayette College and Towson University. Longabardi’s family includes his wife Andreana along with daughters Olivia and Francesca.
