Williams enters his second season with the Kings organization as Assistant General Manager, working alongside General Manager Vlade Divac to oversee day-today operations and performance, strategy, personnel and roster management. Williams joins the Kings after spending the previous four seasons as a front office executive with the Philadelphia 76ers, most recently serving as Vice President of Basketball Administration and General Manager of the NBA G-League’s Delaware 87ers. While aiding the 76ers front office across prospect evaluation, player development, operations and contract negotiations, the former Davidson Wildcat standout distinguished himself in the identification, recruitment, and development of coaches, staff and players facilitating several NBA call ups and promotions.

Williams, brings a broad range of experience having been involved in professional basketball for 20 years. He began his career as a player in 1996, earning both CBA (Sioux Falls Skyforce) and NBA (San Antonio Spurs) championships. He also gained significant international playing experience, via France, Greece, Germany, Italy and Israel leagues, before retiring from the court in 2005 to join the NBA corporate office as a league executive for nine seasons.

A varied path within the NBA League Office, and business of basketball, Williams started in Community and Player Programs, and transitioned to Basketball Operations, overseeing the standards of on-court operations, evaluating the quality of game play, monitoring matters of conduct and discipline, as well as officiating performance via the Standard Observers Program. As the league promoted the vision of developing a true minor league system, Williams consulted on the league’s Affiliation and Assignment System, now recognized as the NBA G-League.

Father to Bailey (14) and Remington (6), Williams resides in East Sac.
