Fans Can Purchase a Jersey via Kings Team Store and Online Starting Today

Uniform to Debut on the Court November 13

Today, the Sacramento Kings unveiled their 2022-23 Nike NBA City Edition uniforms inspired by the fans and city who came together to secure the team’s future in Sacramento nearly 10 years ago.

“We designed the City Edition uniform to honor our fans, whose passion and connection to their team is unmatched in the NBA,” said Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart. “Their efforts to keep the Kings in Sacramento forever changed the landscape of the city, and the team never forgets where they are from and who they are playing for!”

The 2022-23 season marks the 10-year anniversary of the fight to keep the Kings in Sacramento. For the first time in franchise history, the team uniform will be gray – inspired by the iconic Golden 1 Center. The front of the jersey features the word “Sacramento” set in a 10-year tin anniversary bevel. The trim on the side of the uniform resembles the architectural elements of the state-of-the-art arena located in the heart of downtown Sacramento. The words “Sacramento Proud” appear within the trim on the side of the uniform to symbolize the team’s connection with the city. In addition, the shorts display the same purple architectural designs and the Sacramento Proud message. Moreover, the uniform hem is complete with the iconic quote from former NBA Commissioner David Stern, “We are keeping the team in Sacramento.”

The uniforms will debut on November 13 as the squad takes on the Golden State Warriors during the team’s West Coast Hip Hop Night presented by Dialpad and will be worn at 15 games throughout the 2022-23 season.

The official Nike NBA City Edition collection, featuring assorted apparel, including youth jerseys, will be available at the Kings Team Store at DOCO and online at KingsTeamStore.com beginning today.
