Kings Announce Exclusive New Community-Based Leadership Organization – “The Kings 100”
SACRAMENTO, CA, January 26, 2010 ---- The Sacramento Kings today announced an exclusive new community-based leadership organization called the Kings 100.
The Kings 100 consists of a diverse group of 100 prominent community leaders that serve as Ambassadors for the Sacramento Kings. Ambassadors are loyal fans, committed to the success and support of the Kings in the greater Sacramento region. The group will be led by Kings 100 Honorary Executive Director, former Sheriff Lou Blanas, and Kings 100 Honorary Chairman, legend Bobby Jackson.
“What is really impressive to me is the overwhelmingly positive response we got when we asked these leaders to join us in this effort,” said Kings co-owner Gavin Maloof. “That really shows how much the people of this great community love their Kings. We are so honored to have their support and to have this partnership with so many fine community leaders.”
The Kings 100 includes leaders from all over the Sacramento region including Elk Grove, Granite Bay, El Dorado Hills, Lincoln, West Sacramento, Fair Oaks, Loomis and Stockton.
