Health and safety remain Golden 1 Center’s utmost priority and we continue to work closely with state and local officials to ensure protocols adhere to public health guidelines.

UPDATE: August 20, 2021: In accordance with the State of California mandate, starting September 20, all fans will be required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event for entry into Golden 1 Center. Prior to September 20, guests will need to self-attest to being fully vaccinated or having a negative test within 72 hours of the event. In compliance with Sacramento County Public Health order, masks must be worn at all times while in the arena except when actively eating at seat or in designated eating areas.

Golden 1 Center has received two sought-after certifications in the worldwide cleaning industry – the WELL Health-Safety Rating and the GBAC Star Facility certification. The Kings have also partnered with R-Zero, an industry leader and pioneer to implement new UV-C technology to ensure the highest level of health and safety for players and personnel.

From digital ticketing to cashless payments, we’ve modified processes to enable frictionless experiences with less contact. When contact is unavoidable, we’ve made hand sanitizer stations readily available.  All air handlers in the building have also been upgraded with hospital grade filters to improve filtration rate and capture a higher percentage of viruses, bacteria, dust and mold.

NEED A TEST? OMNI has partnered with the Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center to offer ticket holders a discounted rate of $25 for a rapid antigen test ($50 value) at their 1808 Q Street location with results delivered within 15-20 minutes. Guests can use this test 72 hours in advance of each event. Fans can text 916-403-1120 to schedule an appointment or walk-ins are welcome.

Bags larger than 8” x 6” x 1” will not be allowed.

For expedited entry into the building, we encourage fans not to bring a bag. Exceptions will be made for small bags or purses smaller than 8" x 6" x 1”. All bags must go through an X-ray machine which may cause longer wait times at entry. Medical and infant bags will be permitted.

These locations are continuously sanitized using hospital-grade technologies such as the use of electrostatic and backpack sprayers and EPA-approved disinfectants.
