Just one year ago today, Omri Casspi turned heads around the League in an epic three-point shootout with Golden State’s Stephen Curry. With three minutes remaining in the first half, Casspi and Curry combined for nine threes at Oracle Arena, responsible for 29 of the half’s final 31 points. By the break, Omri hit on 7-of-9 attempts from beyond the arc en route to a game-high 26 points while Curry finished with 17 points, all in the final three minutes of the second quarter.

Flashback four years ago and another thrilling moment occurred on this date in Kings history. With Sacramento leading by as many as 27 in the first half, New York fought back to take a five-point lead in the late stages of a contest at Sleep Train Arena. Trailing by two with 15 seconds remaining, the Kings missed on two game-tying shots before a wild passing display led to a James Johnson three-point attempt as time expired. Johnson drilled the shot, his first make from distance that season, leading the Kings to a one-point win.
