Bogdan Comes Up Big Again

Just two days after setting a playoff career-best of 23 points, Bogdan Bogdanovic has already surpassed his own mark.

Bogdanovic has now led his Fenerbahce Istanbul team to a 2-0 series advantage over Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens in the EuroLeague playoffs.

The 24-year-old Serbian guard - whose rights were acquired by the Sacramento Kings in a 2016 Draft day trade - recorded 25 points along with eight rebounds and six assists in an 80-75 triumph.

Bogdan also recorded five makes from three-point range in the contest after knocking down four triples in the previous game. He now boasts a sizzling 71.4 percent from beyond the arc this postseason.

Following the win, Bogdanovic discussed setting his sights on securing the series.

“We go step by step, nothing is over,” said Bogdan. “They lost two times and it can happen to everybody. So we need to stay focused and stay calm. We only need one game to [reach] the Final Four.”

Fenerbahce Istanbul and Bogdanovic look to advance to the Final Four with a victory and series sweep when they play Game 3 of the series on Tuesday, Apr. 25th.
