During a Pan Am Games practice at the Air Canada Centre, Sim Bhullar took to the rim as he always does, only this time the backboard wasn’t completely ready for him.
While it didn’t come crumbling down like many would imagine, the glass completely shattered leaving the team without a hoop and no choice but to continue practice elsewhere.
The big man reposted a photo on Instagram showcasing the result of his dunk attempt.
Teammate Krisjon Vargas joined in with a video following the incident where you can hear Bhullar claim that he supposedly didn’t even touch the rim.
Though he has yet to do any major backboard damage in the NBA, Bhullar mentioned to Kings.com last summer that he did manage to break one while in high school.
While nobody caught the move on camera, Kings minority owner Shaquille O’Neal is no stranger to bringing down the hoop — So we’ll just leave this right here.
