Travis Scott is coming to Salt Lake City.

Multi-platinum hip hop artist, Scott has partnered with Smith Entertainment Group, the parent company of the Utah Jazz, to design a series of dynamic events for NBA All-Star 2023.

Scott's creation of events, which will be presented by his record label and brand, Cactus Jack, will give fans gathering in downtown Salt Lake City an incredibly elevated experience that goes far beyond the basketball court. This curated programming will allow locals and worldwide visitors to experience the energy that is All-Star weekend, a global event beloved by many.

"It's a dream to be able to collaborate with Smith Entertainment Group and the Utah Jazz to create iconic experiences on a canvas like Salt Lake City – especially during a time like All-Star weekend," Scott said. "I love Utah and have been coming here for years to snowboard. Salt Lake City is definitely going to be the place everyone will want to be."

For Jazz Owner Ryan Smith, the opportunity to partner with someone as creative and respected as Scott couldn't be passed up.

"Travis has a one-of-a-kind vision that has made him one of the most popular artists in the world, and we are excited for him to bring his creative energy to Utah," Smith said. "We couldn't be more excited about partnering with him on these activations that will help even more fans and the community engage in amazing All-Star weekend celebrations."

The events included in the weekend-long partnership are the Cactus Jack Concert Series; Grit Rail Jam, presented by the Utah Sports Commission, Utah Jazz, and Cactus Jack; and a Cactus Jack Pop-Up Shop.

Cactus Jack Concert Series: Kicking off at The Depot in the Gateway Center, Scott has put together an incredible list of artists to perform an intimate concert series for the nights of February 17 and 18. Don Toliver and Sheck Wes will start the party on Friday night, while Chase B is the Concert Series DJ. Limited to just 1,200 guests per evening, the Cactus Jack Concert Series will begin each night at 8 p.m. and will cost $150 per night. Tickets are on sale via The Depot beginning Friday, Feb. 3.

GRIT Rail Jam, presented by the Utah Sports Commission, Utah Jazz and Cactus Jack: Free to attend for everyone of all ages, the Grit Rail Jam competition is a sensational opportunity for fans wanting to enjoy the energy coming from All-Star weekend festivities. Heavily involved in the creation and setup of the competition, Scott worked with professional snowboarder and businessman Jeremy Jones to procure a deep roster of athletes for this two-day snowboarding competition, including friends of Scott – Jake Canter and Zeb Powell. The two-day event will feature some of the best professional and amateur snowboarders in the country as they look to master the handrails, walls, and ledges at Olympic Park at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City. The Amateur Snowboard Competition will run from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, where the top male and female snowboarders who win will be allowed to join the pro competition the following day. The Professional Snowboard Competition is set to go from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, with Scott expected to attend.

Cactus Jack Pop-Up Shop: As part of The Shop Salt Lake City – an innovative pop-up retail activation that will be hosted at The Gateway – Scott's Cactus Jack collection partnered with Mitchell and Ness to have exclusive product drops throughout the week's events. Each day will feature new merchandise being dropped, set to begin on Feb. 16 and run through Feb. 19. The shop will be located at 16 N. Rio Grande and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
