After falling to the Spurs in San Antonio last night, the Utah Jazz will play the second leg of their back-to-back set tonight when they take on the Rockets in Houston.

This will mark the second time in four days that the two teams will meet—the Rockets came away with a controversial 93-91 win over the Jazz on Monday in Salt Lake City. 

With the Jazz trailing 91-89, Utah’s Jeff Withey took a pass on the baseline and rose up to throw down a game-tying dunk with 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter when he was hacked on the arm from behind by James Harden and slammed in the body by Montrezl Harrell. Play stopped as everyone on the court—including the entire Rockets team—awaited a whistle ... that never came.

The NBA’s referee report the next day noted that the non-call was a mistake. The report also included one more missed call that would have helped the Jazz—with Utah trailing 92-89 with 12.9 seconds left, Gordon Hayward was held (by Trevor Ariza) while the Jazz were trying to inbound the ball. This should have resulted in one free throw and possession for the Jazz.

Harden scored 22 of his game-high 30 points after halftime on Monday. He currently ranks second in the NBA in scoring at 28.1 points per game.

Derrick Favors (back) did not travel with the Jazz and will miss his eighth straight game tonight.
