“I am actually named after Ike Austin, who played for the Jazz in the early ’90s. It was my dad’s decision to name me that. My mom, she turned into a Jazz fan too, so it worked out. I have two Jazz tattoos. I have the Jazz mountains on my arm. I got a note on my ankle, but they did it backward. I’m committed. I’m always going to be a Jazz fan. “I love this team now. We’re definitely more up-tempo and exciting than we have been in previous years. Everyone loves Donny. Everyone loves Gobert. It’s a great time to be a Jazz fan.” – Austin #ForeverJazz presented by @uber
“I just remember going to games with my dad and falling in love. From the Stockton-to-Malone days, to Boozer and Williams, to now with Mitchell and Gobert. Last year we came to nearly every home game.” —Thomas “My grandpa was a huge Jazz fan, and I would watch games with him. But I really got into it when I met him. It’s kind of our thing. We have a Jazz romance.” —Taya #ForeverJazz
“More than 20 years ago, I watched a game of Stockton and Malone. Their play was so beautiful, so I fall in love with the game. Then I fall in love with the team. For about 10 years I have been doing drawings for players. I’ve done many manga-style artwork, like Japanese comic characters, for players such as Rudy. Sometimes they use them on their social media and I feel like a good connection. The players are far from us, but I can connect with them with my artwork. Now I have been a season-ticket holder for five years and I come to the U.S. as much as possible. I like that I can show loyalty with buying season tickets.” - MIZUHO NISHIO, of Japan #ForeverJazz presented by @uber
