Black History Month Art Contest

Utah Jazz Black History Month Essay Contest

Investing in the Future

Utah community leaders came together to sign a compact committing to anti-racist principles and actions. The Utah Compact on Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is founded on the principles that all people are created equal and that all Utahns must have a truly equal opportunity to prosper.

Select a principle or phrase from the compact and write an essay that describes and/or demonstrates your personal commitment to moving from promise to action and how to activate/inspire our communities to do the same.
