Hornets Recall Noah Vonleh from Fort Wayne Mad Ants

December 31, 2014 – Charlotte Hornets General Manager Rich Cho announced today that the team has recalled forward Noah Vonleh from its NBA D-League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.  Vonleh will rejoin the team for tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets.

Vonleh saw action in two games with the Mad Ants, averaging 7.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block in 13.0 minutes per game. He shot .353 from the field (6-17) and .667 from beyond the three-point line (2-3).

Vonleh was selected by the Hornets with the ninth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.  The 6-10 rookie has appeared in four games for the Hornets this season, with averages of 2.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 8.0 minutes.
