Paul Arizin of the Philadelphia Warriors shot 9-of-13 from the field for 26 points and the MVP Award as the East made it two in a row over the West by a score of 108-91. The game, again played in Boston Garden, was close until five minutes into the fourth quarter, when the East went on a 16-3 scoring spree.

George Mikan of the Minneapolis Lakers led the West with 26 points and a game-leading 15 rebounds. Leo Barnhorst (14 points), Frank Brian (13), and Vern Mikkelsen (12) also scored in double figures for the West, but the East featured six players with at least 10 points. Among them was Ed Macauley, who scored 15 points. Macauley's Celtics teammate Bob Cousy contributed 9 points and a game-high 13 assists.
