Game 1-Apr. 17 (Boston 85, Miami 76): Despite Dwyane Wade's 26 points the HEAT suffered a 85-76 road loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs on Saturday night. Quentin Richardson also played well with 15 points in the defeat.

    Game 2-Apr. 20 (Boston 107, Miami 77): Although Dwyane Wade played 37 minutes and scored 29 points, the HEAT fell 106-77 on the road to the Boston Celtics in Game 2 as they fell into a 0-2 hole in the first round series on Tuesday night. Michael Beasley tallied 13 points and Mario Chalmers had 10 points.

  • Round 1, Game 2

    Game 3-Apr. 23 (Boston 100, Miami 98): Michael Beasley scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to spark a rally, but the HEAT lost Game 3 of their series with the Boston Celtics 100-98 at home Friday night. Dwyane Wade scored 34 with eight assists and Dorell Wright added 15 points off the bench. The HEAT overcame a nine point deficit but Paul Pierce hit a jumper at the buzzer to win the game. Boston leads the series 3-0.

  • Round 1, Game 3

    Game 4-Apr. 25 (Miami 101, Boston 92): Dwyane Wade had a playoff career-high 46 points to lead the HEAT to a 101-92 home victory over the Celtics in Game 4 of the first round of the playoffs on Sunday afternoon. Wade scored 19 points in the fourth quarter to keep the HEAT from elimination. Quentin Richardson and Michael Beasley scored 20 and 15 points, respectively.

  • Round 1, Game 4

    Game 5-Apr. 27 (Boston 73, Miami 70): Dwyane Wade scored 31 points with 10 assists but the HEAT lost Game 5 to the Celtics on Tuesday night 96-86 in Boston. Miami cut a 21-point deficit to six to end the third quarter. They got as close as 73-70 early in the fourth but then Boston pulled away. Mario Chalmers had a nice night off the bench with 20 points, but the Celtics take the series 4-1.
