This event is dedicated to empowering Atlanta's veteran community by connecting them with career opportunities that leverage their unique skillsets and transferable experience.
During the career fair, local organizations with a commitment to hiring and supporting veterans are onsite to engage with attendees, discuss career options, and facilitate meaningful employment connections. Last season, Salute to Success welcomed over 200 veterans, with 30+ companies in attendance, underscoring our commitment to creating pathways to employment for our nation's heroes.
Sponsored by Georgia Power, the Financial Wellness Program Day within the She Leads Women's Empowerment Program is an essential element of the broader She Leads curriculum. Dedicated to enhancing financial literacy, this day delves into critical topics such as Personal Finance, Salary Negotiation, and Deal Negotiation.
Through these sessions, She Leaders gain an in-depth understanding of financial concepts, strengthening their confidence and skills for future financial decisions. Additionally, they receive follow-up resources to support continued growth in financial knowledge, empowering them to make informed, impactful financial choices.
The HBCU Pathways Program, presented by Georgia Power, is a 10-week paid internship experience designed to provide meaningful career development opportunities in the sports and entertainment industry for undergraduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This program provides interns with hands-on experience across multiple departments, including Ticket Sales, Global Partnerships, IT, Community Impact, Marketing, among others, giving them a comprehensive view of the business side of sports.
The HBCU Pathways Program offers students a summer internship from June to August, focusing on nurturing talent from HBCUs and building pathways to long-term careers in the sports industry.
