The John Lewis: Good Trouble Trophy

On July 17, 2020 the City of Atlanta and the entire world lost one of its heroes and most important civil rights icons. Congressman John Lewis was highly regarded for his nearly six decades of social activism and getting into “good trouble.” He continued to inspire so many with his courage, sacrifice and unwavering dedication to the highest ethical standards and moral principles.

The John Lewis: Good Trouble Trophy is dedicated to the icon, who is featured prominently in gold. Under the frame of his bust, you will find the Edmund Pettus Bridge, where Congressman Lewis bravely fought for civil rights.

“Your vote is previous, almost sacred. It is themes powerful nonviolent tool we have to create a more perfect union.” - Congressman John Lewis
