Memphis Grizzlies tip-off Hoops for St. Jude campaign

Online Silent Auction Featuring Exclusive Grizzlies Memorabilia and Experiences Live Now; Hoops for St. Jude Day set for Monday, March 20

Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies announced today their Hoops for St. Jude campaign throughout the month of March, constructed to raise funds and awareness of the lifesaving work done by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The campaign features a Grizzlies online silent auction throughout March and will continue with Hoops for St. JudeDay on Monday, March 20. Fans can purchase tickets for the March 20 Hoops for St. Jude game against the Dallas Mavericks by calling (901) 888-HOOP or by going online to grizzlies.com/tickets

The Grizzlies’ online silent auction is open now and features one-of-a-kind memorabilia, autographed jerseys, basketballs, exclusive experiences and more. The silent auction will run through Friday, March 31. To learn how to place your bid or to donate, visit grizzlies.com/StJude. Thanks to generous donations through programs like Hoops for St. Jude, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on what is most important: helping their child live.

On Monday, March 20, the Grizzlies and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will team up for Hoops for St. Jude Day, a full day of hoops, heart and heroism. Throughout March 20, Hoops for St. Jude will be celebrated during Grind City Media’s slate of shows as well as Grizzlies radio affiliate 92.9 ESPN. Special guests will include fan-favorite Grizzlies personalities encouraging fans to donate to St. Jude in exchange for unique hourly incentives. New this year will be a Celebrity Basketball Game at halftime of the March 20 game against the Dallas Mavericks. Former Grizzlies players and current Grizzlies broadcasters, Elliot Perry and Brevin Knight, will coach teams that include NLE Choppa, Al Kapone, Zach Myers, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and more. Tune-in to The Chris Vernon Show on Friday, March 10 as Perry and Knight draft their celebrity teams. 

Mystery Grab Bags are back for this season’s Hoops for St. Jude campaign and will be available during select home games in March. Grab Bags are available for a donation and could include player autographed items, past giveaways, last season’s apparel and more. Fans can grab the Who Run It?! bag for a $175 donation, the Middle Mane for $300 or the Big Memphis bag for $500.
