Grizzlies offer ticket redemption option on unused tickets for tonight's game due to inclement weather
MEMPHIS, January 30, 2010 - With tonight’s game against the New Orleans Hornets being played despite the weather that has hit the Mid-South over the last two days, the Memphis Grizzlies recognize that many fans may not be able make it to the game because of the conditions.
As a result, the team is inviting all fans with unused tickets for the Jan. 30 game vs. New Orleans Hornets to take them to the FedExForum Box Office beginning Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and exchange them for tickets of equal value, based on availability, to the Grizzlies contest against the Houston Rockets on Friday, Feb. 5.
“We understand many of our fans might not be able to make it to FedExForum tonight because of the inclement weather,” said Greg Campbell, Memphis Grizzlies President of Business Operations. “We’d like to make sure those individuals still have the opportunity to experience a Grizzlies game, so we’re inviting all those unable to attend to our game to do so next Friday against the Houston Rockets.”
Fans must exchange their tickets at the FedExForum Box Office by Thursday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. The FedExForum Box Office is open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. All fans who present an unused ticket to the Jan. 30 game vs. the New Orleans Hornets will receive tickets of equal value, based on availability, to the Houston game.
