Grizzlies to host Playoff Watch Party Wed.

Team Will Hold Pep Rally at FedExForum Saturday, April 23 Prior to Game 3

MEMPHIS, April 19, 2011 – A number of die-hard Grizzlies fans cheered Memphis to its first postseason victory in franchise history at the Bud Light Playoff Watch Party at FedExForum on Sunday, and the Grizzlies are looking to do it all over again tomorrow, Wednesday, April 20, beginning at 6 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. game in San Antonio.

Once again, the Bud Light Playoff Watch Party will take place on the outdoor plaza and in the Grand Lobby of FedExForum, including Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Sports Bar. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Sports Bar, including chicken wings, burgers and fries, as well as anything from the SNAX concession menu. Fans can enjoy the game at Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Sports Bar, on big screens in the Grand Lobby, or outside on the plaza and will be joined by Grizz, the Grizz Girls, McDonald’s Claw Crew and Grizzlies inflatables. Free parking will again be available in the Toyota Parking Garage located on Linden Ave.

As the Grizzlies’ 2011 NBA Playoffs presented by First Tennessee and Toyota moves home to Memphis for Games 3 and 4, the Grizzlies will host Hard Rock Cafe Plaza Parties for both games on Saturday, April 23 and Monday, April 25. Both parties will begin two hours prior to tip-off, with live music and fun starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday along with a Playoff Pep Rally at FedExForum featuring special guests. Verizon Wireless, State Farm and Toyota will be on hand with special giveaway items while Grizz, the Grizz Girls, McDonald’s Claw Crew and Grizzlies inflatables will also be at the event. All fans attending the Grizzlies’ first two Playoff Home Games will receive a Playoff Rally Towel.
