Grizzlies recall James Ennis and Jarell Martin from Iowa Energy
The Memphis Grizzlies recalled forward James Ennis and forward Jarell Martin from the team’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Iowa Energy, Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace announced today.
Ennis (6-7, 210) has averaged 17.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 34.2 minutes in 12 games (all starts) over seven assignments with the Energy this season. The 25-year-old out of California State University, Long Beach also has posted 1.3 points in 3.6 minutes over 10 appearances with the Grizzlies and Miami Heat this season, his second in the NBA.
Martin (6-10, 239) has recorded 12.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 28.2 minutes in six games (five starts) over four assignments to Iowa. The 21-year-old from Louisiana State University has totaled two points in nine minutes through two appearances during his rookie season with the Grizzlies.
