Grizzlies players Joakim Noah and Jaren Jackson Jr. along with RISE to host students for MLK Jr. student roundtable discussion

The Memphis Grizzlies and RISE (Ross Initiative in Sports For Equality) are continuing Martin Luther King Jr. celebration events with a MLK Jr. Student Roundtable Discussion tomorrow, January 15 from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m. Grizzlies center Joakim Noah and forward Jaren Jackson Jr. will act as student leaders and host 100 students from JIFF, Bridges, Grizzlies Prep Charter School and Whitehaven High School.

Noah, Jackson, and local students will share their insights and answer questions in a panel discussion while RISE Vice President of Leadership and Education, Kim Miller, will moderate and facilitate the discussion. The event will aim to build awareness of the intersection of sports and social justice while challenging participants to identify how to drive change in their communities.
