Dallas (19-7) at Seattle (11-13) 10:30 pm EST

SEATTLE (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks will be trying to keep their recent surge going when they visit the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday.

The Mavericks have won nine of their last 11 games, including Thursday's 105-95 triumph in Sacramento. Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 37 points as Dallas rebounded from Tuesday's loss at the Los Angeles Lakers in which Kobe Bryant scored 62 points.

Dallas will likely be getting one of its key players back Friday as two-time All-Star Jerry Stackhouse returns from a sore knee that has kept him out all season.

Seattle had its two-game winning streak stopped Tuesday with a 111-83 loss at Phoenix. Ray Allen scored 26 points and Reggie Evans added a career-high 21 points and a season-best 18 rebounds.

Rashard Lewis scored 16 points and had two steals but also had five of the 17 turnovers committed by Seattle, which has lost four of its last six games.

Dallas won three of the four meetings against Seattle last season, including both meetings here.
