An early entry candidate for the 2005 NBA Draft.

Career Highlights: Started all 83 games he played in and owns career averages of 11.2 points and 8.3 rebounds (931 points and 686 rebounds). He is tied for fourth on Notre Dame’s career blocked shots list with 126 and ranks fourth all-time with a 1.5 career block average.

Junior (2004-05): After returning from back surgery that curtailed his sophomore season, averaged 9.3 points (fourth-leading scorer) and was the leading rebounder (7.9 rpg) for the third straight year. Scored in double figures in 14 contests and grabbed 10-plus rebounds in eight games. Led the Irish with six doubles-doubles. Scored a season-high 21 points against Rutgers and grabbed a season-best 14 rebounds versus Samford.

Sophomore (2003-04): Missed the final 12 games of the season with a back injury. Still earned Honorable Mention All-Big East honors. Underwent back surgery on March 8 to repair a herniated disc in his lower back. Scored in double figures in 16 of 20 contests. Led Irish in double-doubles for the second consecutive year with seven. Notre Dame's leading scorer in six contests and was the team's leading rebounder in 12 games. Tallied 20-plus points in five games. Tallied 22 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks against Virginia Tech. Had 24 points and 19 rebounds against Northern Illinois.

Freshman (2002-03): Started all 34 games during his rookie season and averaged 11.1 points (fourth best on the team) and a team-leading 8.4 rebounds. Was a Big East All-Rookie Team selection. Scored in double figures in 19 games and grabbed 10-plus rebounds in 12 games. Registered a team-high 10 double-doubles. Played 30-plus minutes in 13 games, including a career-best 40 minutes versus Arizona in NCAA regional semifinal contest. Against the Wildcats, connected on 10-of-11 shots from the field in scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Averaged 17.7 points and 12.7 rebounds in Notre Dame's three NCAA tournament games, while shooting 18-for-31 (.581) from the field.

Strengths: Very agile for his size and has a pro body. Very good at establishing position for rebounds and put-backs. Also runs the floor well.

Personal: Was Vice President of senior class in high school and served as sports editor of the student newspaper. Also was a proctor (the equivalent to a residence assistant in college) in one of the dormitories on the Tabor campus. Second oldest of six children. Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business.
