Career Highlights: Named SEC Player of the Year and earned honorable mention All-American honors from the Associated Press as a sophomore. Finished collegiate career as LSU’s third all-time leading shot blocker with a total of 104. Posted 19 career double-doubles and scored 20 or more points on 13 occasions.

Sophomore (2004-05): Led the SEC in field goal percentage (.567) while ranking third in scoring (17.3 ppg), second in rebounding (9.1 rpg), and fourth in blocked shots (1.8 bpg). Recorded 12 double-doubles. Posted career-high 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds vs. Louisiana-Lafayette. Tallied 22 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high six blocked shots at Houston. Registered 17 points and nine rebounds at Utah. Notched a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds vs. Ohio State. Scored 26 points and pulled down 11 boards vs. Mississippi State. Recorded 21 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in the rematch. Sank 8-for-10 field goals and 10-for-13 free throws on his way to 27 points vs. Florida. Led team with 25 points and 12 rebounds vs. UAB in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Freshman (2003-04): Averaged 12.8 points and 7.4 rebounds, ranking second on the team in both categories. Led team and ranked eighth in the SEC in blocked shots (1.9 bpg). Paced team in scoring in seven games and in rebounding in 11 contests. Posted seven double-doubles. Scored career-high 22 points while grabbing 10 rebounds against UAB. Recorded double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds in collegiate debut against Southern University. Scored 20 points against Arkansas, including a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Grabbed career-high 13 rebounds twice, at Alabama and at Auburn. Blocked a career-high six shots against Louisiana-Monroe. Tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds at Oklahoma in the NIT. Named SEC Freshman of the Year by the league’s coaches.

Strengths: Soft hands and large wingspan allow him to play bigger than his height. Knows how to establish position in the paint and is an effective rebounder at both ends.
