Career Highlights: Received North Carolina Stateís Tom Gugliotta Award, given to the teamís Most Improved Player. Named to the ACC All-Rookie Team in 2001-02. Also received the teamís Scholar-Athlete Award and was named to the ACC Honor Roll after posting a 3.45 grade-point average during his freshman year.

Sophomore (2002-03): Ranked seventh in the ACC in blocks (1.3 bpg), 20th in scoring (12.4 ppg) and 18th in rebounding (5.3 rpg). First Team All-ACC Tournament selection, averaging 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in three games. Scored a career-high 26 points in the ACC Championship game against Duke. Had 18 points, eight rebounds and a career-high six blocks against Wake Forest. Led the team in dunks (22) and charges taken (8). Had 23 points and nine rebounds against Boston College.

Freshman (2001-02): Led the Wolfpack in blocks (30) and field goal percentage (52.8%). Also led the team in dunks (25) and charges taken (12). Scored a season-high 18 points against Wofford. Tallied 14 points and nine rebounds at Syracuse. Had 12 points and six rebounds against Duke. Scored 14 points against Georgia Tech.

Strengths: He is a very active player who rebounds with enthusiasm. Uses his long arms to surprise opponents with blocked shots.

Personal: Majoring in business management. Favorite NBA player is Vince Carter, though he patterns his game after Kevin Garnett.
