Career Highlights: Now a member of the Dominican Republic National Team after previously playing for the Dominican Republicís Under-21 National Team. Playing in the Under-21 World Championships in Japan, averaged 13.3 points. Has experience playing professionally in his native Dominican for CDP (Cupes de los Pepines) from 2001 through 2003. Named to the Santiago Regional League All-Star Team in 2002 while playing for Metros de Santiago. Played one season of high school basketball in California before returning to the Dominican Republic.

(2002-03): Playing in Puerto Rico for Gallitos de Isabela, averaged 19.1 points and 7.6 rebounds through the teamís first 10 games. Led team in scoring and rebounding despite missing two games. Scored team-leading 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds vs. San German. Led team again with 22 points and nine rebounds vs. Ponce, which features former Arizona State star Bobby Lazor. Posted 21 points and 10 rebounds vs. Santurce, which features National Team players Orlando Santiago and former Massachusetts guard Edgar Padilla. Scored 21 points in a win over Quebradillas. Posted 21 points vs. Coamo.

Strengths: An aggressive player who likes to take the ball to the basket and doesnít mind contact. Excellent touch out to 15 feet and a good free throw shooter.
