    Career Highlights: Was a member of the gold-medal-winning Yugoslavian team at the 2002 FIBA World Championship in Indianapolis, although he was the 12th man on a deep squad and played only briefly in the tournament. Saw action in five of nine games, totaling only 16 minutes. Had eight points, five rebounds and one blocked shot. Was a member of Yugoslavia’s Under-20 National Team and played at the 2000 European Under-20 Championship. Also played at the 1999 World University Games.

    (2002-03): Earned more playing time and had a greater impact in his second season with Buducnost. Had several impressive performances in Euroleague games against the top teams. Delivered 14 points and 11 rebounds vs. Panathinaikos of Greece. Recorded 16 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots against Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel. Against Unicaja of Spain, tallied 16 points (on 6-for-9 shooting), grabbed six rebounds and blocked two shots. In YUBA League, exploded for 30 points in 90-83 victory over Vojvodina.

    (2001-02): In his first season for top European club Buducnost, contributed as a reserve, averaging 9.4 points and 4.1 rebounds.

    (2000-01): Enjoyed a breakthrough season in his last campaign for Beopetrol, averaging 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and one blocked shot. His success led him to sign with Buducnost for the 2001-02 season.

    (1999-00): In his first full season in the YUBA League, averaged 6.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in limited reserve minutes. Shot 51 percent from the field. Made his first appearance in the YUBA League as a 17-year-old in the 1998-99 season, playing for Beopetrol.

    Strengths: Projected as a forward due to his wiry build, quickness and ballhandling abilities. He is considered one of the top young big men in Europe. praises him as a hard worker and says his game is well-suited to forward because he can pass the ball and shoot facing the basket.
