Anticipate an electric atmosphere at the STAPLES Center Monday night when the Clippers and Lakers meet for the third time this season. The Clippers, sitting five games ahead of their L.A. rivals, look to add to their cushion in the Western Conference playoff picture.

Landry Shamet Catching Fire

Landry Shamet hit six three-pointers in the first quarter against the Knicks and seven in the first half – tying the Clippers franchise record for the most three-pointers made in a quarter and a half. After scoring 21 points in Sunday’s matchup, he’s now scored 20 or more points in consecutive games for the first time in his young career.

Opponent Outlook

The Lakers have struggled after the All-Star break, losing four of their past six games. LeBron James is having his usual strong season (27.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game) and third-year forward Brandon Ingram has played well recently, scoring 20 or more points in five straight games.

Injury Report

Luc Mbah a Moute (knee) is questionable. Wilson Chandler (right quad strain) is out.

Lance Stephenson (toe) is questionable for the Lakers. Lonzo Ball (ankle) is out.
