Read to Achieve School Visits
The LA Clippers Read to Achieve program challenges students in elementary and middle schools to take time out to read with each participating student tracking the number of minutes they spend reading during the 6‑week program. During the 2021‑22 season, over 50,000 students participated in the program from 138 local elementary and middle schools. The top 3 schools in the LA Clippers Read to Achieve Minutes Challenge each received a school visit and reading timeout from Clippers Alumni Player Craig Smith. This year’s winners included Fifteenth Street School in San Pedro, Madrona Middle School in Torrance and Today’s Fresh Start Charter School in Los Angeles.
