Press Release: L.A. Clippers Announce MGM Resorts NBA Summer League Roster, Schedule

The L.A. Clippers announced today their roster and schedule for the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas from July 6-17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The team is highlighted by 2018 draftees Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson as well as current Clippers Jawun Evans and Sindarius Thornwell. The Clippers’ team will be coached by Casey Hill, head coach of the Agua Caliente Clippers. Please note, the Clippers Summer League roster is subject to change.

L.A. is scheduled to open its Summer League slate on Friday, July 6, at 8:30 p.m. PDT against the Golden State Warriors on ESPN. The Clippers will complete their opening round play with contests against the Sacramento Kings (Sunday, July 8, at 8:00 p.m. PDT on NBATV) and the Houston Rockets (Monday, July 9, at 8:30 p.m. PDT on NBATV). Following the opening three games, the participating teams will be seeded in a single-elimination tournament that will begin on July 11 and culminate with the Championship Game on July 17 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. A consolation round will be held for teams failing to advance, ensuring that each team at the NBA Summer League is guaranteed to play no fewer than five games.

For the first time, every Summer League game will air live on television, with ESPN networks and NBA TV combining to televise a record number of games. ESPN will present all 82 games from Las Vegas across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and the ESPN App, including a record 46 games on its linear television channels. NBA TV will air 36 contests, commencing with the league’s opener on July 7.
