Chris Bosh, the No. 4 overall pick of the 2003 Draft, has had to grow up quickly. When he first slipped on his Raptors uni, Bosh was 19. In each of his four seasons, Bosh has raised his scoring and rebounding averages. In improving himself, he's improved the Raptors. Now, at 23, Bosh has carried the Raptors into the postseason for the first time since 2002. CB4 will blog with us as long as the Raptors last in the postseason. You can learn more about Chris at his website.

Live at the Finals

I'm at Game 1 of the Finals right now and it's extremely loud! I can feel the energy and excitement sitting in the stands so I can't imagine how the players feel. After seeing another guy from the 2003 draft class going to the finals, I had to come down to San Antonio and check it out. Maybe next year it'll be my turn. Well... The game is about start and I can't hear myself think. I gotta start watching and taking notes!

Paying Homage to Fellow Texans Deron & Boobie
Posted by Chris Bosh on June 3, 2007, 12:03 a.m. ET

Not too many basketball players from Texas get recognition so I want to tell my friend and fellow Texan, Deron Williams congratulations on a great season. I played AAU with Deron a while back and it's good to see him have such a great season and show the NBA the he's a legit player. He has potential to be one of the great point guards in the league's history.

Congratulations to Daniel Gibson as well. He's from Houston and I remember him playing my brother's team in the state championship back in 2004. He played great in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals and he's only a rookie. Texas guys are doing well and I just wanted to point that out. Keep doing well fellas!

Good Eats Back in Big D

I'm back home in Dallas, Texas now. My house is finally done so I've been moving stuff in and getting the last touches done with the furniture. The minute I got back I went on a junk food hunt! All of the places that they don't have in Toronto, I had to get it. The Waffle House, Whataburger, IHOP and Braums were the places I had to go. Those are burger and ice cream places just in case you've never heard of them. Other than that I've been putting all of my time into my house. I also kick it with my freinds and watch TV or go out. I have an idea of who's gonna win it all. I can't tell you who I think's gonna take it, but I'll tell you if I'm right at the end. Oh yeah! My Website is finally up.

Make sure you check out

Playoff Reflections
Posted by Chris Bosh on May 9, 2007, 4:02 p.m. ET

Well... The season's over now. We lost a close one in Jersey the other night that put us out. It came down to the last play! We ran a play for me to get the ball in the paint. I set a screen and then Richard Jefferson got in front of me. I had a lay-up if the pass got through, but Richard Jefferson deflected the pass and we couldn't get a shot off. If he doesn't make that play, it's no telling how the series would have turned out.

Since then, I haven't watched any games, I just look at the scores at the end of the night. I'm still in Toronto hanging around the city and I'll be here for a little while longer. My brother is visiting me right now so it's cool to have some company. Even though the season is over, it was still a great year for us. We had a great turn around so I can't be disappointed.

The summer is here now so I have to figure out what to do for the next couple of months. I might take a vacation to get away for a minute and just hang out with my family. USA Basketball is going to be later on, so I have to plenty of time to rest and get ready for it so we can qualify for The Olympics in 2008. I'll be in Toronto for a little while longer so I can clean up around the house, then it's back home to Texas.

It's Now Or Never

Backs Against the Wall. Well today is Game 6. This time we stayed in New York City which was way better. I got the chance to get some food at a great Italian resturant. Last time we stayed in Short Hills, New Jersey. If you don't know where that is, don't feel bad because I didn't know where it was until we went there. We have to fight with our backs against the wall again today so its gonna be a crazy game. . I've just been relaxing a lot to try and calm my nerves. We know that the crowd is going to be very intense and the Nets are gonna be hype, but we have to play our game.

The Rigors and Realities of the Playoffs
Posted by Chris Bosh on April 27, 2007, 1:04 a.m. ET

We got into Jersey today around 6 o'clock today. Our flight was delayed for about an hour because the wind was crazy out here. The turbulence was a little shaky, but we're still alive so I can't complain. We'll get a taste of what the Jersey crowd is going to be like tommorrow. This will be my first road playoff game so I have to make it good.

Other than basketball I haven't been able to do much. Playoff games are so tiring! After every game I just don't have the energy to do stuff afterwards or the next day. I go home and sit on my couch, resting because I'm usually sore and watch TV. The playoffs are very physical and hard to win. Every game is a dog fight and I have to get used to that soon because we're about to start playing every other day.

I'm still working on my website,, too. I have a new intro page up right now to show how the new design is going to look. The whole thing should be finished really soon so make sure you check it out. And check out my podcast too. It's a work in progress, but it'll get better and better as time goes on. Watch our game tommorrow on ESPN 2, it'll be a good one.

Itching for Game 2
Posted by Chris Bosh on April 22, 2007, 9:27 p.m. ET

I'm watching the Spurs and the Nuggets right now and I realized something. I've never watched a playoff game at my house in Toronto! I like it though because I got tired of watching everyone play on TV back home. I mean, I still watch all of the games now, but it's different when you're a part of the post-season. That's all I can think about right now! We lost Game 1 to New Jersey and I could barely sleep! Game 2 isn't until Tuesday so I have to wait to get back at 'em. Until then, I'll be up all day and all night thinking about it.

Game 1 ... National TV ... Vince ... Here We Go
Posted by Chris Bosh on April 21, 2007, 9:20 a.m. ET

What's happening everyone? Today is the big day! This is going to be my first playoff game and I'm pretty excited. I'm getting a little nervous too because I want to do well when the series starts. The city of Toronto is really looking forward to the playoffs starting because the Raptors haven't been in 5 years. The things people are talking about most is Vince coming back to town for the postseason. The fact that he was the leader when the Raptors had their last playoff run adds a little spice to the whole thing. That's going to make the atmosphere in the Air Canada Centre crazy! Hopefully everything goes well and we can get off to a good start. Make sure you watch the games. I've waited all season to get on national television and we finally have the chance, and what better stage than the NBA Playoffs? Stay tuned! It's going to be a great series!!!!!

CB4 Checking In
Posted by Chris Bosh on April 10, 2007, 1:40 p.m. ET

What's up everybody! This year has been a great year so far and I'm enjoying it a lot. The city of Toronto is really excited and playoff fever is back. It makes me feel really good because the years in the past for me and the team has been a struggle, but that's behind us now. The best thing I like about it all is that we have a team made up of great guys. That makes it a lot easier to work and have fun.

I know that I seem like a quiet guy to a lot of people, but I'm actually not. I like to talk and I've been told I'm funny. That actually surprises people because I come off as a shy person most of the time.

I love basketball, but when I'm not playing I like to chill at home a lot too. I have every gaming system out right now, but my favorite is the XBOX 360. If I'm not doing that I'm on my computer. I'm kind of a computer geek. I'm always surfing the internet, reading, or downloading stuff. I'm also working on my website,, all the time. Me and my friend are revamping the whole thing.

I'm going to have a lot of cool stuff to check out. It's a chance for people to see what I'm like of the court. I have a Podcast called Max 'n' out too! Me and a radio personality named Devo Brown are on it just talking about current events, entertainment, movies, etc.

You should check out when you get the chance. I also like to read books. I try to read at least one or two a month. Right now I'm reading a book called the 48 Laws of power. It's a tough read because it's like 500 pages. I'm halfway through it so hopefully I'll be done soon.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll be back to tell you about my first playoff game. I'm really excited about it and I'm looking forward to it. Y'all be cool!!!!
