  • Due to the high interest in Celtics basketball, we have sold out of season tickets for Celtics home games for the upcoming NBA Season. To accommodate Celtics fans’ interest in Celtics season tickets, we have initiated the Celtics Wait List to give fans the opportunity to purchase Celtics season tickets in the future as they become available. Q: How many seats will I be able to purchase during my “Purchase Window”?

  • During your Purchase Window, you will be able to purchase the same number of seats as Celtics Wait List deposits placed. For example, if you placed four (4) Celtics Wait List deposits, you will be able to purchase season ticket memberships for four (4) seats.

Q: What is the Celtics Wait List presented by American Express membership term?

  • You will remain a Celtics Wait List member until (a) you are offered the opportunity to purchase season tickets, (b) you request to be removed from the Celtics Wait List, or (c) your Celtics Wait List membership is revoked for any reason described in the Boston Celtics Wait List Terms and Conditions.

  • You may request that we cancel your Celtics Wait List membership and refund your deposit at any time prior to our contacting you that you are eligible to purchase season tickets. Deposit refunds will be administered within six (6) weeks of receiving the request.

  • Those that join should expect email updates about the Celtics Wait List program from time to time. Email will be the primary form of communication for Celtics Wait List information and updates. The Celtics will make every effort to ensure email notifications are received in a timely manner, but the Celtics cannot guarantee email delivery because of third party constraints (spam filters, firewalls, etc.). Those on the list are responsible for maintaining a valid email address that is able to receive Celtics Wait List emails, and are encouraged to notify the Celtics immediately at sales@celtics.com if they feel communications are not being properly received. It is the sole responsibility of those on the Celtics Wait List to promptly notify the Celtics if his or her email address or telephone number changes. The Celtics Wait List was created to provide an organized and fair process for fans to have access to Celtics season tickets when they become available. The Celtics Wait List deposit is $100 per seat, with a minimum of two (2) deposits for two (2) seats and maximum of five (5) deposits for five (5) seats. By placing a minimum deposit of $200, you will be added as a member of the Celtics Wait List and assigned a priority number for season ticket availability.

  • No, we cannot guarantee that Celtics Wait List members will have access to season ticket memberships. Access is based on the number of season ticket locations that become available and the number of Celtics Wait List members.

ELIGIBILITY:

Q: Who is eligible for Celtics Wait List presented by American Express?

  • The Celtics Wait List is only open to individuals age eighteen (18) or older, and who are (a) legal residents of Massachusetts, (b) legal residents of Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine who live within a one hundred fifty (150) mile radius of Boston, Massachusetts, and (c) legal residents of Connecticut who live within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of Boston, Massachusetts. One membership is permitted per household. All purchasers of Celtics season tickets will be subject to all terms and conditions applicable to Celtics Season Ticket Memberships.

Q: Is my Celtics Wait List membership transferable?

  • Celtics Wait List membership may be transferred within 30 days of making the deposit. Membership cannot be transferred to another person after this 30 day period unless the membership is being transferred to the transferring member’s immediate family member. Q: I already have season tickets. Do I need to join the Celtics Wait List presented by American Express to upgrade my seats?

  • No, one of the benefits of being a season ticket member is access to the STM seat relocation process. Season ticket members will have the opportunity to upgrade their seats before inventory is made available to Celtics Wait List members or the general public. Season ticket members who wish to add seats into their current account are encouraged to join the Wait List. They are subject to the same rules as anyone else on the Wait List, and may not exceed a total of five (5) seats in their account.

Q: How do I update my contact information?

  • To update your mailing address, phone number or e-mail address, please contact us at sales@celtics.com.

Q: What if I don't have access to the Internet or don't check my email?

  • Celtics Wait List communications will be through email and a valid email address is necessary for notification of updates relevant to your membership. If you do not have an email address currently you can create a free email account.

Q: Can I have emails for my Celtics Wait List account sent to two email addresses?

  • No, each person on the Celtics Wait List must have only one (1) email address associated with the membership account. Celtics Wait List email communications will be sent to this email address only. You may change your email address by sending a written request to sales@celtics.com.

PROCESS:

Q: How will the process work?

  • More details will be emailed to Celtics Wait List members prior to each season ticket release. Celtics Wait List members can generally expect the following:
    • Available season ticket locations will be organized into one or more “Season Ticket Releases” and offered to eligible Celtics Wait List members based on priority numbers.
    • Celtics Wait List members who are eligible to purchase season tickets will be notified by email, which will include detailed instructions and a website link to view available season ticket inventory online.
    • Celtics Wait List members who are eligible to purchase season tickets will have a total of 24 hours to view available season ticket inventory and purchase (the “Purchase Window”).
    • Available season ticket inventory will be listed online and Celtics Wait List members who are eligible to purchase season tickets will be able to complete their purchases online or can contact sales@celtics.com for support in completing their purchases.
    • Season tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible Celtics Wait List members within the applicable Purchase Window. If any season ticket locations remain when a Purchase Window closes, the next group of Celtics Wait List members (determined by priority number) will have the opportunity to purchase during the next Purchase Window.
    • This process will continue until all available season ticket locations are sold.
    • Celtics Wait List members purchasing Celtics season ticket memberships during their purchase window will be immediately removed from the Celtics Wait List.
    • Season Ticket Releases are subject to season ticket availability, so Celtics Wait List members are encouraged to purchase during their first Purchase Window.
    • If a Celtics Wait List member is offered two separate Purchase Windows and does not purchase season tickets in either window, the Celtics Wait List member will be assigned a new priority number, and will not be offered a Purchase Window until their new priority number is reached on the Celtics Wait List.

Q: How are Celtics Wait List members prioritized when season ticket memberships become available?

  • Each Celtics Wait List member is assigned a priority number when enrolling in the Celtics Wait List. Priority numbers are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Celtics Wait List members with the lowest numerical priority numbers will have the first opportunity to purchase season ticket memberships as they become available. Priority numbers are based on the date of membership in the Celtics Wait List.

Q: How do I know what my Celtics Wait List priority number is?

  • Upon purchase, each Celtics Wait List member will receive an email containing a priority number. You can also email us at sales@celtics.com regarding your priority number.

Q: When can Celtics Wait List members expect to first get access to season ticket memberships?

  • Celtics Wait List members with the lowest numerical priority numbers will have the first opportunity to purchase season ticket memberships as they become available.

Q: What if I am unable to participate during my “Purchase Window”?

  • Celtics Wait List members unable to participate during their Purchase Window will remain on the Celtics Wait List and, in the event there is a subsequent Season Ticket Release, will have the opportunity to purchase available season ticket inventory during the next Season Ticket Release, so long as those individuals are Celtics Wait List members at such time. The Celtics reserve the right to adjust the priority ranking if season tickets are declined during any Celtics Wait List member’s Purchase window.
