Re: The game:

"We shot 35 percent and we had the ball down two or three with three or four minutes to go. It was a pretty good effort by our guys. We’re 16-10 assists to turnovers. We got 20 offensive rebounds. Everything went great except the ball going in the basket. That’s okay, I feel like we’re getting better, I really do and I think you can see it. When we started making some shots late, that certainly helped. But they just didn’t go in enough. I thought we played a lot better than last time here."

Re: Not being able to get over the hump:

"They’re so long and they challenge every shot. Every shot is difficult. It’s a great defensive team and when George (Paul) and Stephenson (Lance) hit the shots that they hit, it’s hard to overcome that. Everything we did in and out of the paint, we finally got a couple baskets without interference late in the game. Rondo (Rajon) found Sully (Jared Sullinger) a couple times. Sully got some tip-ins, Rondo got to the basket. Those are hard to come by against those guys."

Re: The game:

"They’re tough, they’re big, and they take up a lot of space. Late in the game they made shots and we missed shots. I thought we did a great job with Rondo coming off screens and dragging guys out on the floor and then attacking the glass. We had success doing that. We also were able to get some fouls on them, any time you can do that against the other team that’s a good thing, but I wouldn’t say that was our game plan."

Re: Boston's ability to hang around in the game:

"Even though we’re not winning a lot of games we still have the mindset of playing hard every game and giving our best. They (the Pacers) are a great team, one of the best in the league. They were able to make plays down the stretch and they were able to stop our rhythm. I thought (Rajon) Rondo did a good job of finding guys, did a good job of penetrating and kicking out and guys were able to knock down shots."

Re: The game:

"We played a better basketball game, we moved the ball pretty well. Overall a very positive game. It’s always good to get a W. Nobody was happy losing four in a row. It’s about winning the next game. It’s a simple as that."

Re: Andrew Bynum:

"I thought he looked great. He changes the game and has a presence at both ends. He’s a really good basketball player. He is here for a reason. I expected him to impact the game."

Andrew Bynum

Re: How his knees feel:

"I had a month off so my knees feel good again. The training staff here has been great working with me every single day."

Re: His performance:

"It’s a different location, a different time in my life. I’m looking forward to just going out and playing. Obviously the atmosphere is a lot better from the standpoint that we are winning."

Re: His early minutes:

" I felt great. I couldn’t do anything wrong today. All the rebounds came my way, I just grabbed them. I’m looking forward to the next game."

Re: His comfort level on offense:

"I’ve been around a while. Now I’ve been with two or three teams, so picking up the offenses isn’t really an issue."

Re: If he'll play in back-to-backs:

"I’m going to try. If Ian (Mahinmi) is still hurt, they’re going to need me. So we’ll figure it out."

George Hill

Re: Getting back to "Pacers basketball":

"I think so. What did we give up, 83 points? It’s good when we’re back to playing the same defense that we started with... Once we get going on the defensive end, it helps us get going on the offensive end. Our main focus has to be on defense and let everything else handle itself."

Re: Andrew Bynum:

"I think he did well, not forcing anything and playing a dominant, smash mouth type of play. It was good to have him out there. He said he felt good so I’m happy about that."

Re: The win being a step in the right direction:

"Any time you win it builds confidence. I think our confidence was kind of low losing four in a row, having not done that in I don’t know how long. A win sure does help the confidence."

Paul George

Re: The game:

"I thought we got back to playing some pretty good defense, enough to get us a win."

Re: If defense is the key to success:

"It is. We have enough shot-makers, enough playmakers on this team to get by offensively. Defense is where we have to come back to our own. A lot of positives tonight. We went through a stretch where we were up by a lot. We have to be able to keep that lead. Give those guys credit. They did a great job of fighting back."

Re: What Andrew Bynum brought to the game:

"He brought a lot. There is not much on the court he didn’t do for us tonight. He really did a great job of controlling the paint, on the boards. Offensively he was huge. We made a huge emphasis to find him."
