BCSF H-O-R-S-E Raffle - Participation in this raffle supports the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation (BCSF). The mission of BCSF is to extend the reach of the Celtics legacy into the community through programs that directly benefit children in need. To do this, the Foundation applies a team mentality – much like that of the 17-time world championship Celtics – and relies on key partnerships with New England-based non-profit organizations that provide vital services and support to youth. Your support will help the Shamrock Foundation make an impact on more young people across New England. Thank you!

Have you ever wanted to play H-O-R-S-E against a professional basketball player? Here’s your chance! Enter this raffle for an opportunity to win one exclusive game of basketball H-O-R-S-E against Marcus Smart! Two (2) lucky winners and each of their guests will take a trip to the official Celtics practice facility to play against Marcus Smart in the exclusive game! Win or lose, the raffle winners will each receive one (1) basketball autographed by the entire 2022-23 roster and a pair of loge tickets. Two (2) lucky winners will each receive:

  • One (1) exclusive game of H-O-R-S-E with Marcus Smart for winner and one (1) guest, to be held at the Boston Celtics practice facility, the Auerbach Center at New Balance World Headquarters;
  • One (1) 2022-23 team autographed basketball; and
  • Two (2) loge tickets to the Toronto vs. Boston Celtics home game scheduled to be play on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the TD Garden.

Basketball H-O-R-S-E Directions

Have you heard of the game H-O-R-S-E? No not the animal, but a timeless basketball gamed enjoyed by players of all skill levels. H-O-R-S-E requires players to take turns duplicating each other’s shots from anywhere on the court. These shots can include tricks, so use your imagination to create fun shots!

To begin the game, pick a player to go first. That player gets to do anything they want before shooting. If they want to spin around five (5) times and then hop up and down before shooting, they can do it. They make the rules! If they hit their shot, the other players have to do the exact same thing. But if they miss, the next player gets to make up their own wacky shot for the others to try. Any player that can’t make the first person’s shot gets the letter H. Everyone keeps playing the game and making up crazy shots until someone misses enough times to spell out the word H-O-R-S-E. The player who does not spell H-O-R-S-E is the winner.

How it Works & Winning Numbers

The raffle entry period runs from 12:00 PM ET on Friday, March 10, 2023 through 12:00 PM ET on Friday, March 24, 2023. Two (2) winners will be selected via random drawing on Friday, March 24, 2023. BCSF will notify the winner via phone call and email on the drawing date. Fans must purchase raffle tickets to be eligible to win a prize.
