Berklee City Music Network
Berklee City Music Boston the founding site of the City Music Network—provides music education programs and scholarship opportunities to 1,400 underserved students annually throughout the Greater Boston area. For over 20 years, City Music Boston has utilized a holistic approach to train musicians, build leaders, and foster community development. Program participants receive music theory, instrumental and ensemble instruction, individualized mentoring, and the Berklee PULSE® online curriculum. Students also have access to performance opportunities, workshops with visiting artists, master classes, and other valuable resources on the Berklee campus. With year-round instruction, expert faculty, and a comprehensive curriculum, City Music Boston gives students the tools and support they need to reach their full potential.
Boston Children’s Hospital
Boston Children's Hospital is the nation's leading pediatric medical center, offering a complete range of health services for patients from birth through age 21. It is home to the world's largest research enterprise based at a pediatric medical center, where its cutting edge discoveries benefit both children and adults. The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation sponsors Champions for Children's, the hospital's annual fundraising dinner and auction.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston
Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (BGCB) helps young people, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders by providing a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, life-enhancing programs. BGCB serves approximately 16,000 young people, ages 6 to 18, in 11 Clubs in Boston and Chelsea, and through our programs and partnerships. Our approach focuses on six core program areas: Arts; Education; Leadership; Life Skills; Sports, Fitness and Recreation; and Technology.
Founded in 1976 and located in the heart of Boston's Theatre District, Boch Center is New England’s largest nonprofit performing arts center and one of the nation's foremost nonprofit performing arts institutions. Boch Center’s mission is to be a nonprofit innovator and steward of iconic venues, providing arts, entertainment, cultural, and educational experiences to the greater community. Through numerous outreach educational efforts, collaborations, and partnerships, Boch Center strives to educate and inspire greater appreciation for creativity as an essential component to the fabric of our society. Over the past 26 years, our FREE education and outreach programs have reached nearly 300,000 children, teens, families and educators, along with hundreds of neighborhood organizations.
Horizons for Homeless Children
The mission of Horizons for Homeless Children is to improve the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts and help their families succeed by providing high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services.
Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children
The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) is a private, non-profit society dedicated to leadership in protecting and promoting the rights and well-being of children and families. For 126 years, MSPCC has been a champion providing programs and advocating for public policies that protect children and support families. MSPCC offers a wide range of direct services, from child abuse and neglect prevention and intervention programs to clinical treatment throughout 25 locations across the Commonwealth. MSPCC's extended network touches the lives of 100,000 children and families annually.
Perkins School for the Blind
Perkins School for the Blind is committed to providing education and services that build productive, meaningful lives for children and adults around the world who are blind, deafblind or visually impaired with or without other disabilities.
True to its mission, Perkins School for the Blind continues to provide its students with the tools and knowledge to chart a course toward each individual's maximum level of independence.
Positive Coaching Alliance
Positive Coaching Alliance’s mission is to develop BETTER ATHLETES, BETTER PEOPLE through workshops, online courses, books, and resources for coaches, parents, administrators and student-athletes to help create a positive, character-building sports culture for young athletes. Combining sports psychology with the best practices of top coaches, PCA seeks to develop: the Double-Goal Coach®, who strives to win while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports; the Second-Goal Parent®, who concentrates on life lessons, while letting coaches and athletes focus on competing; and the Triple-Impact Competitor®, who strives to impact sport on three levels by improving oneself, teammates and the game as a whole.
PCA gains support from a National Advisory Board, including Boston Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens, and many other top coaches, athletes, organization leaders and academics who share PCA’s mission.
The3PointFoundation's mission is to close the opportunity and achievement gap caused by economic inequality for underserved, low-income Boston elementary and middle school youth by providing free community-based programs that integrate project-based learning, athletics, dance, and other activities to foster the development of 21st century skills, social-emotional growth, and a growth mindset - all of which are crucial to future success.
