The Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland NAACP, Black CoLabs, and Aramark, in partnership with Hennessy, are proud to present A Taste of Black Cleveland: The Food Showcase 5.0 on Thursday, August 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The tasting portion will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where guests can sample signature dishes from 20 Black owned establishments. The night will continue with the “After Taste” and will feature seven Black owned pastry and dessert businesses.

The event shines a spotlight on the diverse culture, cuisine, and live entertainment in local Black communities. Chefs will prepare their signature dishes for guests to sample and vote on to award winning participants a grand prize. Local Black mixologists will provide drink samples and will compete for the People’s Choice Drink of the Night presented by Hennessey. New this year, the event will incorporate five local Black owned wine companies and will feature their product at the event. Glasses of wine will be redeemable with a drink ticket. All proceeds from the Taste of Black Cleveland will benefit the participating businesses, Cleveland NAACP, and the Cavaliers Community Foundation HBCU Scholarship Program.

Tickets for the tasting experience are $100 and include two drink tickets, and food and drink tastings from over 20 local Black Chefs and wine companies. The ticket also grants one vote in the contest for top participants along with entrance to the “After Taste” celebration that will feature seven Black owned pastry and dessert businesses.
