In support of the Cleveland Guardians exciting postseason weekend, the Cavs Wine & Gold Scrimmage at the CSU Wolstein Center, home of the Cleveland Charge, on Saturday, October 8th will now begin at 11:00 a.m., giving fans the opportunity to cheer on both teams. Doors to the scrimmage will open to the public at 10:00 a.m.

New Start Time for Wine and Gold Scrimmage at the Wolstein Center on Saturday

The reigning NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers will tip off the 2016-17 season with their FREE annual Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage presented by FirstEnergy on Sunday, October 2nd at 3:30 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena. . The intrasquad scrimmage will be the first opportunity for fans to see the Cavs players take the court again at The Q since the conclusion of the historic 2016 NBA Finals.

Fans 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Seating will be general admission and there is a limit of six (6) tickets per transaction. Doors to the arena will open at 2:30 p.m., one hour prior to tipoff.

In addition to getting a first look at this year’s squad, fans will be treated to a sample of the Cavs award-winning game presentation, featuring lights-out player introductions and Humongotron flames, performances from the Cavalier Girls dance team, Scream Team hip-hop troupe, the always-entertaining antics from mascots Moondog and Sir C.C, and more!

It's basketball time at The Q! The Cavaliers will hit the hardwood for the first action of the 2015-16 season at the Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage presented by FirstEnergy - and it's FREE! The annual intra-squad scrimmage will take place on Monday, October 5th at 7:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena and will be the first opportunity for Cavs Nation to see the team as they prepare for the upcoming season presented by Discount Drug Mart.

NOTE: All tickets for the Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage have been distributed but you can check out all of the action by tuning into Cavs.com for live coverage from The Q.

Doors for the Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage will open at 5:30 p.m. In addition to getting a first look at this year's squad, fans will receive a 2015-16 Cavs roster card and enjoy a bevy of concourse activities and special offers, including:

IMPORTANT: To promote safety and ensure everyone's enjoyment at the event, Quicken Loans Arena requires that minors, guests 17 years of age and under, attending the Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

FREE YOUTH BASKETBALL CLINIC ON GATEWAY PLAZA
To tipoff a season long effort focused on the hardwood heroes of tomorrow, the Cavs are hosting a FREE youth basketball clinic on Gateway Plaza before the start of the Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage. The clinic, powered by the National Basketball Academy, will start at 5:00 p.m. the day of the scrimmage and is limited to the first 200 participants to sign up at cavs.com/youthclinic.

The Cavaliers’ annual prelude to the tipoff of a new season begins with the team’s intra-squad scrimmage where Wine meets Gold! The Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage presented by FirstEnergy takes place on Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena — and it’s FREE! It will be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2014-15 Cavaliers roster as the team gets ready for the most anticipated season in franchise history.

Free tickets (a limit of six tickets per person) will be available online at Cavs.com beginning Friday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. using the convenience of Flash Seats. Flash Seats is the Cavaliers official electronic ticketing system that allows fans to enter Quicken Loans Arena with just a swipe of their electronic ID (typically a credit card or driver’s license). Seating for this event will be general admission.

Doors for the Wine &amp; Gold Scrimmage will open at 5:30 p.m. so fans can enjoy a playground of concourse activities and special offers while taking in the excitement of being “deep in The Q” for Cavs basketball, including:

In addition to the action on the court, fans will be treated to a special production of the Cavs’ award-winning game presentation, including performances from the Cavalier Girls and Scream Team, as well as the usual entertaining antics from mascots Moondog and Sir C.C. There will also be many other special fan activities and giveaways both on and off the court during the evening.
