NEW, unwrapped toy donations collected at Cavs, Monsters, and Charge home games from Nov. 30 - Dec. 17

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters and Cleveland Charge have once again teamed up to make the holidays special for children in the Northeast Ohio community through their annual&nbsp;Toy Drive as part of the Season of Giving&nbsp;Delivered by UPS&nbsp;goodwill initiatives.&nbsp;Fans can drop-off NEW and unwrapped toys at all Cavs, Monsters and Charge home games beginning&nbsp;Wednesday, November 30th through Saturday, December 17th.

Fans can also purchase toys to donate on the “Cleveland Cavaliers 2022 Toy Drive” Amazon Smile digital wish list&nbsp;here.

The Cavs will match a new toy for every toy donated.&nbsp; All donated toys will be distributed to pre-selected non-profit organizations that serve children in the Northeast Ohio community.

For Cavs and Monsters home games, fans can drop off NEW, unwrapped toys at collection bins located at every entrance of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, and at the CSU Wolstein Center for&nbsp; Charge home games (collection bin located at Medical Mutual entrance).

Through the holidays, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters and Cleveland Charge celebrate&nbsp;Season of Giving&nbsp;Delivered by UPS&nbsp;a host of events designed to help spread the joy of the holiday season to those in our community.&nbsp;

Dashing through the snow….or through the snow globe, more accurately.

The practice court at Quicken Loans Arena was transformed into a giant snow globe on Wednesday, all for the enjoyment of members of the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Lorain County. Fifty kids from the Clubs, ages 8 to 12, were at The Q for the Cavs &amp; Monsters Annual Toy Drive Party, presented by Step2. The shindig was the culmination of the yearly Cavs and Monsters Toy Drive, also presented by Step2, as part of the Cavaliers Season of Giving, presented by Nestlé Baking.

Cavs players Cedi Osman and Ante Zizic were on hand for the festivities, getting in on the snow globe action with the kids.  The players and their new friends decorated cookies, took pictures in the photo booth, and hung out with the Cavs and Monsters mascots and entertainment team members and Cavs in-arena host Ahmaad.  Cedi and Ante also got to play Santa’s helpers, handing out gifts to all the kids. Each child received a new toy and a Cavs and Monsters scarf.

Then all the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs members laughed all the way, with bells on bobtails ringing, to the Monsters game for the rest of the night.

The Cavs and Monsters Toy Drive took place at all Cavs and Monsters home games from November 24th through December 9th.  Fans were invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to the games and more than 1,600 items were generously donated, including $5,000 in product from Step2. Based locally in Streetsboro, Ohio, Step2 is the largest American rotational molder of preschool and toddler-aged toys. So 1,600 underserved children will receive a new present for the holidays. All the items are being distributed to several nonprofit organizations in the Cleveland area.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and their fans will be able to touch the lives of thousands of families and children in need across Northeast Ohio this holiday season.  With the Cavs matching the number of items collected during the annual Toy Drive, presented by Yonanas – 100% Fruit Soft Serve, approximately 3,000 children will receive a new toy for the holiday.

Fans donated new, unwrapped toys at several Cavs home games during November and December.  In addition, students participating in Teen Leadership Corps also collected items for the Toy Drive.  With a total of 1,500 contributed from fans and Teen Leadership Corps, the Cavs organization matched that with 1,500 toys of their own, doubling the number of families that will benefit from the initiative.

The 3,000 toys are being distributed to several pre-selected, non-profit organizations throughout Northeast Ohio that work with underserved children.

The Lake Erie Monsters also participated in the Toy Drive, collecting items at their home games that will likewise be matched and given to local charitable organizations.

The Toy Drive was part of the Cavs Season of Giving, presented by Nestle Baking.

Thanks to another successful Cavs and Monsters Toy Drive, presented by Yonanas – 100% Fruit Soft Serve, hundreds of Northeast Ohio children will have a happier holiday this year. Fans have donated items at Cavs and Lake Erie Monsters games during the annual Toy Drive, and the teams have matched the amount of toys donated to double the number of local families benefitting.  All the toys are being given to pre-selected non-profit organizations in Northeast Ohio that work with underserved children.

Cavs players Lou Amundson, Brendan Haywood and AJ Price personally handed out toys to approximately 250 kids from the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Cleveland and the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Lorain on Tuesday.  The players, along with team mascots Moondog and Sir C.C., spent time with the youngsters at Cinemark at Valley View for an early holiday celebration.

After receiving their new toys from the Cavs, the kids were treated to a special early screening of the new movie “Annie,” thanks to The Owens Group.  The Columbia Pictures film will be in theatres on Friday.

Tuesday’s event is part of the Cavaliers Season of Giving, presented by Nestle Baking.

With the holidays fast approaching, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lake Erie Monsters are doing their part to help make it a more festive season for underprivileged children in Northeast Ohio.  For the next three weeks, the two teams will be holding their annual Toy Drive, presented by Yonanas - 100% Fruit Soft Serve, as part of the Cavs Season of Giving, presented by Nestle Baking.

Beginning this weekend with tonight’s Monsters game and Saturday’s Cavs game, fans are asked to participate in the Toy Drive by bringing new, unwrapped toys to Quicken Loans Arena.  Collection bins will be set up at the entrances of The Q for all home games between now and December 13th.  All donated toys will then be distributed to organizations throughout Northeast Ohio that work with underserved children.

Fans can donate toys at the following home Cavs games: Nov. 22 vs. Toronto; Nov. 24 vs. Orlando; Nov. 26 vs. Washington; Nov. 29 vs. Indiana; Dec. 2 vs. Milwaukee; and Dec. 9 vs. Toronto.

Toy donations will be accepted at the following home Monsters games: Nov. 21 vs. Grand Rapids; Nov. 28 vs. Hamilton; Dec. 3 vs. Chicago; Dec. 5 vs. Chicago; Dec. 12 vs. Rockford; and Dec. 13 vs. Rockford.
