Love organizes Cavaliers pre-camp minicamp in New York

Kevin Love is organizing another pre-camp training camp, the idea being to bond and get buckets with his Cavaliers teammates before the real thing begins.
According to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, Love has scheduled this year’s unofficial minicamp for next week in New York. Media day is set for the end of the month with training camp to tip off the day after that. The Cavs open the season Oct. 23 at the Orlando Magic.
Love did the same thing last year, as Fedor noted, organizing a pre-camp gathering of Cavs in Miami. It became a regular thing when the Cavs were led by LeBron James. Love decided to carry on the tradition — despite the fact this is a very different era for the franchise. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
New York Fashion Week 2019: Kevin Love isn’t cavalier about style
Author: Alev Aktar
Publication: NY Post
NBA star Kevin Love might be a power forward, but he’s not a power shopper. After all, it’s not easy to pop tags when you’re 6-foot-10 with size 17 feet, like the Cleveland Cavaliers champ.
“Most of the time, it has to be custom,” he told The Post after the Rag & Bone show, which he attended with his girlfriend, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Kate Bock. “The thing that’s the biggest hurdle for me is my shoes.”
Love says he prefers classic, timeless pieces, though he has been known to take fashion risks. “I think because I’m an athlete, in some respects I’m able to pull that off a little bit better than most. I wore a pair of Nike Supreme overalls to a game. I got a lot of s–t for that,” he says, grinning. “It was like, ‘Who’s this dressed-up farmer walking around? What the hell is this?’ It was a mixed bag of what I got back from that.” Will Love be tackling a fashion line of his own? “I can see it happening,” he says. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
