Terry Talkin' about Browns being 4-12, Cavs and LeBron James, and the Indians -- Terry Pluto
Author: Terry Pluto
Publication: Plain Dealer

"Here's what we know:

1. James opted out of his contract with the Miami Heat, and has yet to sign a new deal.

2. The Cavs are one of several teams (including Phoenix, Houston and Dallas) to have had a very preliminary meeting with Rich Paul, the agent for James.

3. James was not at the meeting. Paul and James want to keep this low profile. He may talk to some other teams, such as the Lakers and Chicago."

Cleveland Cavaliers fans get to watch Pat Riley squirm and maybe much, much more -- Bud Shaw's "Sports Spin"
Author: Bud Shaw
Publication: Plain Dealer

"CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Obviously, LeBron James returning to Cleveland – a possibility that looks more reasonable by the day -- would thrill a sports town looking for its first championship in 50 years.

James' return would come with a cherry on top: watching Pat Riley rattle his saber and squirm. The same goes for the Heat fan base, at least that part of the fan base that would care enough to take it personally.

Riley didn't mind when James and Chris Bosh turned mercenary four years ago, coming to Miami to join Dwayne Wade and chase titles while accepting less money than they could've made by staying put."

Bob Finnan's NBA notes: LeBron James may want to move back to Ohio
Author: Bob Finnan
Publication: The News-Herald/The Morning Journal

"This LeBron James story is starting to take flight.

Three finalists could return to Cleveland early next week to present their sales pitches to James in person, Yahoo! Sports reports.

I believe the Cavaliers will be one of those finalists, along with Miami. James appears to have legitimate interest in returning to where he played the first seven years of his career."
