Cleveland, Oct. 27th - The Cavalier Girls dance team will officially unveil their 2006-2007 Swimsuit Calendar at a special launch party on Friday, November 3rd at 7:00 p.m. The party will be hosted at Jac’s on West 6th Street in downtown Cleveland’s Warehouse District. This event is open to the public.
The 14-month calendar (November 2006 through December 2007) featuring the Cavalier Girls in sizzling swimsuits was shot at magnificent lakefront properties in Avon Lake and Pepper Pike. In its third edition, the calendar will include a full team photo featuring the Cavalier Girls in their stunning swimsuit attire.
The element of surprise at the party is that the Cavalier Girls themselves will see their pictorials for the first time along with fans. In addition, the winner of the highly-coveted title of ‘Cover Girl’ will be revealed. Thousands of votes were cast by fans earlier this month at cavs.com for Rhema, Suzanne or Bethany to be the beauty who adorns the cover. The fan favorite will be surprised as the cover shot is finally revealed. The evening will continue to heat up with introductions and performances by the dance team, as well as a meet and greet session with each dance team member next to a copy of her calendar month.
"This year’s swimsuit calendar is bigger and better than ever before,” said Vandana Patel, Cavs Dance Team Coordinator. “It will definitely make heads turn and jaws drop while continuing to be one of the best swimsuit calendars in all professional sports. And we’re confident the special team photo is something fans will enjoy!”
Calendars will be available for purchase at the event for $20. All net proceeds from the calendars will go to Cavaliers Charities, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation. Cavaliers Charities supports programs designed to positively impact young people in the areas of education, recreation and employment and life skills, with a particular emphasis on programs aimed toward at-risk youth.
The Cavalier Girls 2006-2007 Swimsuit Calendar will be available for purchase at the Cavaliers Team Shop in Quicken Loans Arena or online at www.cavs.com beginning November 4th.
