A FAILURE YOU LEARNED FROM: My first time auditioning for Cavalier Girls I did not make it. I “got inside of my own head”. A Lot of times I doubted myself and psyched myself out when I didn’t need to, and it affected my performance and my confidence. If you say ‘you can't”, you won't. So you have to tell yourself “you can” and you will.

I am most proud of: Making the Cavalier Girls.

What is your dancing background and experience? I started dancing in high school. I was a cheerleader but also did hip hop dance groups. I was also a part of the hip hop dance team Eccentricity while I was at BGSU. I became a Monsters Hockey Girl for the 2014-2015 season and returned for my 2nd year as a captain for the 2015-2016 season. I also danced with the Cleveland Gladiators Girls for the 2016 season, and now I can finally add Cavalier Girls to my list!!!!

Why did you decide to audition for the Cavalier Girls? I have always been a huge Cavs fan since day 1, and when I was younger I would always watch the Cavalier Girls, probably more than the game lol. I would always think “I want that to be me”. I love dance but I was always too afraid to audition because I didn't have the proper training in different styles of dance, or experience. After dancing for the Monsters, and growing as a dancer, I learned a lot and I knew it was time to finally go after what I wanted and make that change in my dance career. I want to be that girl that other younger girls look up to, and can be an example for girls who can say “She did it, and so can I!”

If you can say anything to Cavalier fans, what would you say?   Thank you for being the best fans in the NBA. There's no fan like a Cleveland fan, and I can't wait to see 20,562 of you all in the Q this year, cheering on our championship team!

What advice would you give someone who dreams of becoming a Cavalier Girl? NEVER GIVE UP! No matter what your dance background or experience, never let anything stop you from going to that audition and getting on that court! Hard work and confidence will get you SO far in hopes of becoming a Cavalier Girl.

What do you like most about being a part of the Cavalier Girls? I love learning the style of Cavalier Girls and being a part of an amazing championship organization. But even more I love coming to rehearsals with my teammates and forming a bond and friendship with girls that have the same passion as myself.

Most memorable Cavalier Girl moment so far? The most memorable moment so far was at the end of training camp. On our last day as soon as we finished practicing our last routine, still catching our breath lol, we were told we were the 20162017 Cavalier Girls! It was the happiest moment of my life, crying happy tears because something that had always just been a dream of mine, was now my reality. And to be able to share this moment with the other girls who were now my teammates was amazing and something I will never forget.

Hardest part about being a Cavalier Girl? Learning and remembering so much gameday material so quickly in the beginning of the season to make sure we look great in front of the fans. But the excitement of the season approaching and getting on the court just motivates me so much more to work hard and make learning everything a fun experience instead of getting overwhelmed.
