Campers Hit The Court At Day 2 Of BWB Americas

Day 2 of BWB Americas 2015 started off with movement efficiency training for the campers led by Kevin Johnson (Philadelphia 76ers), Ale Oliveira (Brooklyn Nets), and Matt Friia (Charlotte Hornets). The campers then had their second life skills session, this time led by Corey Brewer and Luc Mbah a Moute. The session focused on leadership and communication, and the importance of teamwork in achieving your goals on-and-off the court. The morning concluded with positional skill development and team practices.

After lunch, the campers broke into their four teams for four 16-minute games of 5-on-5, while NBA and FIBA players, coaches and legends refurbished two basketball courts in Santo Domingo at Club El Almirante, which is home to more than 200 youth. The players, coaches and legends also conducted a Jr. NBA clinic for Club El Almirante boys and girls.

With two days of BWB Americas in the books, everyone is looking forward to ramping up the competition during the final two days of the camp.
