March 7, 2014 -- The Reinsdorf family suffered a terrible loss on Monday with the untimely passing of David Reinsdorf, age 51, son of Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and brother of Bulls President and COO Michael Reinsdorf.
David was a devoted father, brother, uncle, son, and friend and will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him. Beginning with tonight’s game, the team will pay tribute to David by wearing a patch on their jerseys with his initials (DJR) for the remainder of the regular season.
Prior to tonight’s game, the Bulls will also observe a moment of silence to honor David Reinsdorf.
