CCI PREVIEW: It's pay back night for the Bulls as they look to take care of business against a Hornets team that rallied to beat the Bulls last week in North Carolina.
The Hornets outscored the Bulls 34-17 in the fourth quarter as the Bulls bench struggled scoring a collective 11 points. The two teams combined to go 11 of 57 from three point range, 19%. I expect the Bulls to play with a sense of urgency tonight. The Hornets LaMelo Ball may have other things in mind as the Hornets are coming off a Tuesday loss at Milwaukee. Despite a poor shooting performance against the Bulls, Ball managed to post 15-11-8 numbers against the Bulls last week.
The Bulls went 7-7 in January as DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic put up big numbers.
DeRozan in January: 26-3-5. 51% -=40% 3pt fg. 87%FT.
LaVine in January: 26-6-4. 46%fg. 36%-3s. 84%FT.
Vucevic in January: 20-13-4. 56%. 37%-3s. 80%FT.
